Blackberry Applesauce Smoothies

Sweet apples and tart blackberries blend deliciously in a tangy yogurt smoothie.

Servings: 16 servings (1 serving = 1 - 8 oz smoothie)

Applesauce, unsweetened, chilled

  1. Add applesauce and blackberries to large capacity blender (or prepare in batches).
  2. Blend on high speed 1 minute; stop blender and scrape sides with spatula.
  3. Continue to blend until smooth.
  4. Measure to verify that pureeing has resulted in 8 cups of fruit (for nutrition requirement if needed); puree additional fruit if necessary.
  5. Whisk fruit puree and yogurt together in large container until smooth.
  6. Portion into serving cups and cover; serve chilled immediately or refrigerate overnight.

  • Garnish with diced green apples or additional frozen blackberry if desired. Note nutritional information may change.
