Lemon Angel Bars

Stir up an angel food cake mix, pie filing and coconut and watch them magically transform into excellent lemon dessert bars.

Batter
  1. Combine cake mix and pie filling in mixer bowl.
  2. Mix with paddle for 2 minutes on low speed; scrape bowl.
  3. Add coconut, and mix 1 minute on low speed.
  4. Spread into greased and floured full sheet pan and bake.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 7 minutes of baking.
Glaze
  1. Combine glaze ingredients in small bowl.
  2. Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Spread glaze completely over slightly warm bars.
