Butter Toffee Bars

Toffee bits add a delicious crunch to Gold Medal™ Variety Muffin Mix dessert bars.

Servings: 64 servings (1 serving = 2x3-inch bar)

Toffee bits

  1. Cream butter and sugar in mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment on medium speed for 2 minutes; stop mixer and scrape bowl and paddle.
  2. Add eggs and mix on low speed for 1 minute; stop mixer and scrape bowl and paddle.
  3. Add muffin mix and toffee bits; mix on low speed for 30 seconds until incorporated.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; mix on low speed an additional 30 seconds. DO NOT OVERMIX.
  5. Deposit batter evenly onto greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan.
