Tiramisu Brownies

Coffee brings out the flavor in chocolate, so the combo is excellent in a creamy brownie bar that's a simple version of the Italian classic.

Instant espresso powder

Coffee, brewed, cool
1 lb 8.00 oz

Filling
  1. Mix cream cheese and sugar in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on medium speed about 2 minutes or until creamy and light.
  2. Mix on high speed 30 seconds to 1 minute to remove any additional lumps.
  3. Add remaining ingredients slowly and mix until incorporated.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; mix on medium speed 1 minute. Set aside.
Batter
  1. Prepare brownie batter according to package directions (substituting coffee for the water).
  2. Deposit brownie batter into greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan.
  3. Place random dollops cream filling over brownie batter.
  4. Drag knife through batters to create marbled pattern; bake as directed below.
