Sesame Truffles

Cacao butter and sprouted tahini balls rolled in sesame seeds make a bite-size vegan truffle treat.

Coconut palm sugar, coarse

Sprouted tahini

Cacao butter

Honey, raw
8 oz
3/4 cup
Sea salt, coarsely ground
2 tsp
Vanilla extract
2 tsp
Cacao powder, sifted

  1. Mix sesame seeds and coconut sugar in separate bowl; set aside.
  2. Place sprouted tahini, cacao butter, honey, coarse salt, vanilla and cacao powder in food processor.
  3. Mix together about 1 minute on low speed until evenly combined.
  4. Scoop truffles using #70 scoop; round off and toss into sesame/coconut sugar mixture.
  5. Place on parchment-lined cookie sheets and refrigerate until use; allow to sit at room temperature 20-30 minutes before serving.
  6. Do not expose to high heat; refrigerate for up to 7 days.

  • Tip: Cover and freeze up to 30 days if desired; thaw or serve frozen.
