Crust

Granulated sugar

Crust
  1. Mix cake mix, butter and food color in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on low speed 1-2 minutes or until crumbly.
  2. Press half of crust mixture evenly into greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan.
  3. Spread evenly. Set remaining crust mixture aside.
Batter
  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in another bowl with paddle attachment on medium speed 1 minute.
  2. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle. Mix additional 1 minute.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, until each one is incorporated, mixing on medium speed.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle. Mix additional 1 minute.
  5. Pour batter over crust and spread evenly; crumble remaining crust mixture on top and bake as directed below.
