Raisin Spice Muffins

Plump, sweet raisins are the perfect addition to a whole-grain muffin.

Apples, canned in water, drained

  1. Stir spices into opened bag of muffin mix. Cut apples into medium diced pieces. Set aside. Pour Combine water, muffin mix and spices into large mixing bowl. DO NOT OVERMIX.
  2. Fold diced apples and raisins into batter.
  3. Deposit #16 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pans; sprinkle on oats and press lightly into batter.
  4. Bake as directed below.
