Gold Medal™ Basic Muffin Mix (11432)

Brown sugar, packed

Pecans, chopped

Water, cool approx. 72°F
2 lb 4.00 oz

Streusel Topping
Mix all dry ingredients in mixer bowl using paddle attachment on low speed 1 minute.
Add butter and mix on medium speed approx. 2 minutes or until small pea-sized lumps are formed.
Refrigerate or set aside until needed.
Batter
Pour muffin mix, brown sugar and pecans into mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
Add half of the water and combine on medium speed 2 minutes.
Add remaining water gradually; stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle.
Mix on low speed 2 minutes then deposit batter into greased or parchment-lined floured full sheet pan.
Top evenly with Streusel Topping and bake as directed below.
