Pear Cream Cheese Tart

A tart with a cookie-like crust, dreamy cream cheese filling, pears and a caramel drizzle has a brilliant balance of flavor and texture. Sliced pears, canned, well-drained

Caramel sauce

Crust
  1. Add cake mix, butter and an egg to mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed until mixture forms a soft dough.
  3. Press into bottom and 1-inch up side of sprayed 10-inch springform pan; set aside.
Filling
  1. Add cream cheese, egg and vanilla extract to mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on medium speed until smooth; spread into crust.
  3. Toss well-drained pears in sugar and cinnamon until coated; arrange slices on top of filling.
  4. Bake as directed below until edges are golden brown; cool 30 minutes and place in refrigerator (uncovered) for at least 2 hours.

Finishing
