Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut butter and chocolate -- a match made in heaven. Get a jumpstart to an amazing cookie with a cake mix. The chocolate chips make it even better.

Brown sugar, packed

Eggs, large

Water, cool approx. 72°F

1/2 cup
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 lb 4.00 oz

  1. Combine peanut butter, butter and sugar in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on medium speed 2 minutes.
  2. Add eggs and water; mix on low speed 30 seconds.
  3. Add cake mix; mix on low speed 1 minute.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; add chocolate chips and mix on low speed just until incorporated, approx. 30 seconds.
  5. Deposit #30 scoop of dough in 4 x 6 pattern onto greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan.
  6. Place a piece of parchment paper on top of cookies, and using another sheet pan, press to flatten approx. 3/8-inch thick.
  7. Bake as directed below and allow to cool before serving.
