Cinnamon, brown sugar and oats give a buttery streusel the classic flavors perfect sprinkled over coffee cakes and muffins.

  1. Cut cold butter into 1 1/2-inch chunks.
  2. Add cake mix, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to mixer bowl.
  3. Using paddle attachment, mix on low speed 2 to 4 minutes or until combined and crumbly.
  4. Store refrigerated in airtight container until ready to use.

  • Be creative by using other cake mix flavors, ingredients (chopped nuts, small chocolate chips, vanilla extract) or spices (nutmeg, allspice) you prefer to create new variations.
