Oat and Spice Breakfast Squares

Go with whole grains in a classic morning coffee cake combo: oats, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Quick oats, dry

  1. Mix applesauce, brown sugar and eggs with whisk until well blended.
  2. Stir spices into opened bag of muffin mix.
  3. Add muffin mix to applesauce mixture; whisk until well blended. DO NOT overmix.
  4. Fold oats into batter then divide batter evenly (approx. 6 lb) between 2 parchment-lined, or greased full sheet pans.
  5. Bake as directed below and allow to cool.
