Nut Butter Yogurt Hummus

What do you get when you combine garbanzo beans and tahini, with yogurt, peanut butter and almond butter? A delicious yogurt hummus that will become a new favorite!

Prep
  1. Add garbanzo beans and tahini paste to mixing bowl; stir until beans are evenly coated.
  2. Pour onto parchment-lined sheet pans and bake as directed below; allow to cool completely.

Assembly
  1. Add cooled garbanzo beans, yogurt, agave nectar, vanilla extract and nut butters to blender.
  2. Blend for 1-2 minutes or until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
  3. Transfer to covered container and keep refrigerated until portioning.
Apple Chips
  1. Stir together agave nectar and lime juice in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Remove cores of apples and slice 1.5 mm thin using a mandoline (approx. 200 total); place into bowl.
  3. Gently rub or stir to coat apples, being careful to keep them whole.
  4. Place slices side by side on sprayed, parchment-lined full sheet pans; bake as directed below and allow to cool.

  1. Deposit 1 - #20 scoop (2 oz) of yogurt hummus into serving dish.
  2. Garnish with 1 heaping tsp of toasted almonds; serve with approx. 7 Apple Chips.
