Mozzarella Biscuit Bites

Fried mozzarella stuffed biscuit bites tossed with herby garlic parmesan cheese delivers an irresistible appetizer.

Mozzarella cheese, medium cubes
1 lb 8.00 oz

Garlic, minced

Parmesan cheese, grated

Parsley, chopped

Prep
  1. Thaw biscuit pucks, covered, either at room temperature 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
Assembly
  1. Flatten dough piece and place 0.25 oz cube of mozzarella cheese in the center; wrap dough around and pinch together to seal.
  2. Drop 8 biscuit pieces into deep-fat fryer preheated to 325°F; cook 3-4 minutes, turning as necessary, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove from oil, drain and immediately toss in bowl of garlic, parmesan cheese and parsley; serve immediately.

  • Garnish plate with arugula and serve with warm marinara if desired.
  • Substitute your preferred biscuit as desired. Note, ingredient quantities may need adjusting.
