Low Fat Chocolate Chip Angel Food Cake

A sprinkle of chocolate in an angel food cake makes the fluffy delight even better.

Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Pour water and cake mix into grease-free mixer bowl.
  2. Mix using wire whisk attachment on low speed 30 seconds.
  3. Stop mixer, scrape bowl well; mix on medium speed about 1 minute or until batter is light, fluffy and holds a slight crease. DO NOT OVERMIX.
  4. Add chips during last 20 seconds of mixing.
  5. Fill grease-free 10-inch tube pan no more than two-thirds full; bake as directed below.
