Turkey deli meat, sliced

Jalapeño Popper Spread
  1. Combine yogurt and cream cheese (Neufchâtel) in large bowl; mix until smooth.
  2. Add onion, garlic powder and pepper; mix completely.
  3. Fold in shredded cheese and both peppers; chill until needed.
Assembly
  1. Separate panini pocket pieces; smear #40 scoop of Jalapeño Popper spread on cut sides.
  2. Layer on 1/4 cup spinach and 1 oz equivalent meat portion turkey slices; replace top of bread and serve cold.
  3. If desired, heat in 350°F convection oven for 7-10 minutes until the spread is melted, spinach is wilted and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  • Wrapped sandwiches stay soft and moist while unwrapped sandwiches are crisp and crunchy. Substitute chopped fresh green bell pepper for jalapeños if a milder flavor is desired.
