Jalapeno Bread Bowls

Spicy whole-grain muffin dough with toppings of your choice bakes into a bowl shape in paper trays.

Diced jalapeño peppers, canned, drained

  1. Combine water and muffin mix into a mixing bowl. Stir with a rubber spatula until well blended.
  2. Fold in jalapeño peppers into batter. Do not overmix.
  3. Deposit 2 - #20 scoops into a #200 paper hot food tray (tray should be able to withstand oven temperatures stated below).
  4. Spread muffin batter across bottom and 1 inch up the sides to create the bread bowl.
  5. Top with your favorite protein toppings before baking and bake until internal filling temperature reaches 165°F. Note nutrition information will vary based on toppings used.
