Gluten-Free Chex™ No-Bake Apple Bars

Make a heartier cereal bar when you add dried apples, cranberries and sliced almonds. Gluten free and fabulous!

Dried cranberries, sweetened

Light corn syrup

Brown sugar, packed

Butter
0.50 oz
1 Tbsp
  1. Spray large mixing bowl with pan spray; add cereal, dried apples, almonds and cranberries then set aside.
  2. Add corn syrup, brown sugar and butter to a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan; heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened; pour over cereal mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Transfer mixture into foil-lined and sprayed 8-inch square pan.
  5. Press mixture firmly into a pan using buttered back of spoon.
  6. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until firm enough to cut; serve at room temperature.
