Gingerbread Cake

Gingerbread meets white cake in this fluffy, tasty treat!

7 1/2 cups
Molasses
6 oz
1/2 cup
Ginger, dried, ground
3 Tbsp
Cinnamon, ground
2 Tbsp
Cloves, ground
1 tsp
  1. Pour only 3 1/2 cups water to mixing bowl fitted with paddle attachment; add cake mix, molasses, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.
  2. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes; pour remaining 4 cups water slowly into bowl while mixing on low speed until combined.
  3. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle and mix 2 additional minutes.
  4. Pour batter onto greased or parchment-lined sheet pan; bake as directed below and allow to cool before serving.
