Falafel Base
  1. Place chick peas, cilantro, parsley, onions, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and coriander into a food processor fitted with a metal blade.
  2. Process until blended but not pureed.
Waffle Batter
  1. Combine water and pancake mix into large mixing bowl; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  2. Fold in falafel base mixture; stir until well mixed.
  3. Deposit #30 scoop of batter onto well oiled waffle iron, preheated to 375°F; bake 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Tips: Finished waffle can be topped with a green salad and sliced lamb or lamb chops for an appetizer.
