Easy Deep Dish Cobbler

Ingredients are simply layered in the baking pan, and the result is an old-fashioned cobbler without all the work. Vary the fruit for a whole new dessert.

Sliced peaches, canned in heavy syrup

Cinnamon, ground

Brown sugar, packed

Butter, unsalted, melted

  1. Pour peaches and syrup into full steam table pan (12 x 20 x 2 1/2-inches).
  2. Sprinkle cake mix and cinnamon evenly over peaches.
  3. Drag spatula through cake mix, peaches and syrup mixture to lightly combine. DO NOT completely stir all together.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over cake mix, then drizzle melted butter over top.
  5. Bake as directed below.
