Easy Corn Dogs

Corn dogs just like at the State Fair. Dip the dogs into a smooth cornbread batter, and fry. So good!

Servings: 48 servings (1 serving = 1 corn dog)
INGREDIENT

Water, cool approx. 72°F
3 lb 3.00 oz

Eggs, large

  1. Pour total amount of water into mixing bowl fitted with whisk attachment.
  2. Add total amount of eggs; whisk together using wire whisk on low speed 1 minute.
  3. Add total amount of cornbread mix and flour. Mix using paddle attachment on low speed 1 minute.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle. Mix on low an additional minute, until batter is smooth. Set aside.
  5. Insert 1/8-inch diameter wooden skewer lengthwise halfway into each hot dog.
  6. Just before frying, dip into batter until completely coated.
  7. Place in preheated 350°F deep fat fryer 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
