Dairy Free Black Pepper Panna Cotta with Butternut Squash Sauce

This sophisticated panna cotta is dairy free thanks to Yoplait® ParfaitPro® Dairy Free yogurt.

Servings: 12 servings (1 serving = 4 oz panna cotta, 4 oz sauce)
Black Pepper Panna Cotta

Black Pepper Panna Cotta
  1. Add water to a small bowl; sprinkle gelatin over top and let sit for a few minutes.
  2. Combine almond milk and black pepper in a sauce pan; bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in gelatin until melted; cool approx. 5 minutes.
  4. Fold in yogurt then pour 1/2 cup (4 oz) into ring or silicone mold of your choice.
  5. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.
Butternut Squash Sauce
  1. Add butternut squash pieces, vegetable stock, cinnamon and salt to a sauce pan.
  2. Boil for 15 minutes or until butternut squash is tender.
  3. Smooth sauce with immersion blender, leaving some chunks, and keep warm.
Assembly
  1. Unmold panna cottas when ready to serve (dip mold in hot water for 3 seconds, run knife around edge and invent).
  2. Place 4 oz warm Butternut Squash Sauce at the bottom of serving dish; add 1 Black Pepper Panna Cotta on top.
  3. Garnish with 1 tsp balsamic reduction and 2 edible flowers; serve immediately.
