A simple, buttery croissant with Vanilla Maple Butter is taken to the next level when grilled just before serving.

Butter, salted, softened

Pure maple syrup
1.50 oz

Vanilla extract

Prep
  1. Bake croissants as indicated on package; allow to cool for 1 hour.
  2. Slice cooled croissants in half, lengthwise.
Assembly
  1. Combine softened butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract with a mixer.
  2. Spread 0.5 oz butter mixture on each cut side of the croissant.
  3. Griddle or grill over medium-low heat to toast and slightly caramelize each piece; serve immediately.

  • Serve a warm croissant with 1 oz Vanilla Maple Butter on the side for a fast grab-and-go option if desired. Pipe leftover Vanilla Maple Butter onto parchment for individual servings and freeze for later use on hot croissants, or pancakes.
