Cream Cheese Icing

A classic cream cheese frosting made with simple additions to vanilla icing finishes a carrot cake, red velvet cake, cupcakes and so many more.

Butter, unsalted, softened

1/2 cup
Vanilla extract

  1. Beat cream cheese in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on medium speed 3-4 minutes.
  2. Scrape down bowl and add remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix approx. 2 minutes or until incorporated.
  4. Use immediately or store tightly covered in refrigerator.
