Country French Apple Cobbler

Buttery streusel tops a brown sugar-apple custard with Yoplait® Nonfat Plain Yogurt.

Sliced apples, canned in water, drained

Brown sugar, packed

Almond extract

Cinnamon, ground

Nutmeg, ground
1/4 tsp
Streusel Topping
  1. Cut cold butter into 1 1/2-inch chunks; add with cake mix to mixer bowl with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed 2 to 4 minutes or until combined and crumbly. Set aside.
Apple Custard Filling
  1. Pour drained, sliced apples into full steam table pan (12 x 20 x 2 1/2-inches). Set aside.
  2. Place yogurt, milk, flour, brown sugar, eggs, extract and spices in food processor.
  3. Cover and process until mixture is well combined; pour over apples.
  4. Sprinkle on streusel topping evenly; bake as directed below and serve warm.
