Cinnamon Whole Grain-Rich Toasty Biscuits

A simple cinnamon butter baked-on topping turns plain biscuits into spectacular, flaky breakfast treats.

Butter, unsalted, softened

Granulated sugar

Cinnamon, ground

  1. Remove plastic overwrap from thawed biscuits and place biscuit tray on parchment-lined half sheet pan.
  2. Microwave butter for 20 seconds. Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon together.
  3. Spread mixture evenly over biscuits; bake as directed below.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 3 minutes of baking.
