Cinnamon Sugar Waffle Chips with Bourbon Vanilla Dipping Sauce

This simple yet tasty recipe takes pie dough pressed in a waffle iron and is sprinkled with cinnamon sugar then served with a Bourbon Vanilla Dipping Sauce.

Prep
  1. Thaw pie dough rounds, covered, at room temperature 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Combine sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; set aside.
Bourbon Vanilla Dipping Sauce
  1. Stir together icing, syrup and bourbon in a small mixing bowl; set aside.
Finishing
  1. Place thawed pie dough round in greased waffle iron preheated to 325°F; cook 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Remove and sprinkle approx. 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon and sugar mixture on each side of cooked waffle chips.
  3. Cut into 4 pieces and serve with 1 1/2 Tbsp (approx. 1 oz) Bourbon Vanilla Dipping Sauce.
