Cinnamon Biscuit Blossoms

Flaky biscuits snipped to look like flowers get a cinnamon-sugar coating and a dollop of pie filling in the center.

Cinnamon, ground
1 tsp
Pie filling, any flavor

  1. Thaw biscuits at room temperature 30 minutes.
  2. Make 5 cuts approx. 3/4-inch deep with kitchen scissors, cutting from outside edge of biscuit toward center (making flower petals).
  3. Place biscuit blossoms on parchment-lined full sheet pan.
  4. Combine sugar and cinnamon in bowl; sprinkle evenly over biscuits.
  5. Press back of teaspoon into center of each biscuit blossom; fill imprint with approx. 1 tsp pie filling.
  6. Bake as directed below and serve warm.
