Chocolate Fluffernutter Bars

Fluffy peanut butter filling tops a chocolate crust in a dessert bar that's finished with a sprinkle of marshmallows and a crumble topping.

Sweetened condensed milk, canned

Miniature marshmallows

Peanut butter, creamy

Peanuts, salted

Crust
  1. Combine cake mix and butter in mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed 2 minutes. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle.
  3. Mix on medium speed 3-4 minutes, or until crumbly texture is formed.
  4. Press 4 lb crust mixture evenly into greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan and spread evenly.
  5. Set aside remaining 1 lb crust mixture.
Filling
  1. Combine butter, sweetened condensed milk and 1 lb marshmallows in heavy-bottom large saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and peanuts.
  4. Spread filling over crust and deposit remaining marshmallows evenly over top.
  5. Crumble remaining crust mixture over top and bake as directed below.
