Chocolate Chip Cookies

The cookie of all cookies comes with recipe variations to make it with raisins, nuts or peanut butter chips.

Dark brown sugar, packed

Eggs, large

Water, cool approx. 72°F

Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Stir butter and brown sugar in mixer bowl using paddle attachment on medium speed 2 minutes.
  2. Add eggs and water; mix on medium speed 1 minute.
  3. Add cake mix; mix on low speed 30 seconds.
  4. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; add chips and mix on low speed 30 seconds or until blended.
  5. Deposit #30 scoop of dough in 4x6 pattern onto parchment-lined full sheet pans.
  6. Bake as directed below and allow to cool before serving.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 4 minutes of baking.
