Chocolate Almond Croissants

This rich, chocolatey, flaky croissant is topped with toasted almonds and a sprinkle of sugar making it great pairing for coffee, cocoa or chai tea anytime!

  1. Thaw dough, covered either at room temperature 30-45 minutes or overnight refrigerated.
Assembly
  1. Press thawed croissants, sticky side down, into sliced almonds; coat in a thick layer.
  2. Place croissants on parchment-lined sheet pan; sprinkle with 1 tsp of granulated sugar.
  3. Bake as directed below until golden brown.
