Cherry Cobbler Quick Bread

A sweet quick bread with cherries is made extra-moist and rich with sour cream.

Oatmeal Streusel Topping

Water, cool approx. 72°F

Sour cream

1 cup
Cherry pie filling
1 lb 8.00 oz
2 1/2 cups
Oatmeal Streusel Topping
  1. Combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and cold butter in small mixing bowl with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed 1-2 minutes or until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1 1/2 cups for topping.
Batter
  1. Whisk together water and sour cream in mixing bowl until well blended.
  2. Add muffin mix and whisk together.
  3. Fold in remaining Oatmeal Streusel Topping and cherry pie filling until incorporated.
  4. Deposit 1 lb 9 oz (approx. 3 cups) batter into 6 greased loaf pans.
  5. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the reserved streusel over top of each pan and bake as directed below.
