Cherry Cobbler Muffins

Dark cherries and crumbly streusel are swirled into the batter for a deluxe morning muffin.

Dark cherries, canned, drained

Streusel Topping
  1. Combine sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon in large mixing bowl; stir until butter is fully incorporated.
  2. Set aside, or refrigerate until needed.
Batter
  1. Combine water and sour cream in large mixing bowl; add muffin mix and stir (batter will be thick).
  2. Fold in cherries and 8 oz Streusel Topping; deposit #12 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pans.
  3. Top with 1/2 oz (2 Tbsp) remaining streusel and bake as directed below; allow to cool before serving.
