Cherry Almond Tea Cookies

Chocolate, cherry and almond flavors meld perfectly in a simple bar cookie.

Butter, unsalted, cold

Dried cherries
1 lb 2.00 oz

Almonds, sliced

  1. Mix all ingredients in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on low speed 2-3 minutes or until dough comes together and pulls away from bowl.
  2. Press dough into greased or parchment-lined half sheet pan. Chill dough approx. 20 minutes or until firm.
  3. Remove chilled dough from sheet pan. Cut vertically into 8, 2-inch wide strips.
  4. Cut each strip into 24, 1/2-inch thick slices. Place slices in 4x9 pattern on greased or parchment-lined full sheet pans.
  5. Bake as directed below.
