Cappuccino Icing

Caramel espresso icing frosts a full sheet cake or 130 cupcakes. It's a great complement to devil's food or white cake.

Instant espresso powder

Water, cool approx. 72°F
2 Tbsp
Caramel topping

Icing
  1. Place vanilla icing in mixer bowl with paddle attachment; mix on medium speed for 5 minutes until icing is light and fluffy.
  2. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle.
  3. Combine espresso grounds and water; mix on medium speed until paste forms and grounds are dissolved.
  4. Add espresso paste and caramel sauce to vanilla icing; mix for 45 seconds or until well combined.
  5. Use icing immediately, refrigerate or freeze until needed.
