Buttery Rum Pecan Brownies

Butterscotch and rum add a rich dimension to moist, chocolaty dessert bars.

Pecans, coarsely chopped

Butterscotch chips
1 lb 8.00 oz

  1. Pour water and rum into mixer bowl.
  2. Add brownie mix; mix with paddle attachment on low speed 30 seconds.
  3. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle.
  4. Add pecans and 1 lb butterscotch chips; mix on low 30 seconds longer.
  5. Deposit batter into greased full sheet pan; sprinkle remaining 8 oz butterscotch chips evenly on top.
  6. Bake as directed below and allow to cool before portioning
