Brown Butter M&M™ Blondies

Nutty browned butter takes Gold Medal™ Yellow Cake Mix blonde brownies to a whole new luscious level.

Brown Butter
  1. Heat butter in heavy saucepan over medium heat; stir constantly to keep butter from burning. Watch carefully as butter can burn quickly.
  2. Remove pan from heat when butter turns brown and has a nutty aroma after approx. 5 minutes; allow to cool.
Batter
  1. Cream browned butter and brown sugar and eggs in mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Stop mixer and scrape bowl and paddle; mix on low speed and additional 1 minute.
  3. Add cake mix and M&M's; mix on low speed for 1 minute until incorporated.
  4. Stop mixer and scrape bowl and paddle; mix on low speed an additional 1 minute. DO NOT OVERMIX.
  5. Deposit batter evenly onto greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan.
