Bloody Mary Flatbread Pizzas

The sauce in these shrimp and arugula individual pizzas features the distinctive flavors of a Bloody Mary.

Bloody Mary Sauce
  1. Place all sauce ingredients in non-metal bowl.
  2. Stir until thoroughly combined.
  3. Cover and set aside for 2 hours or overnight under refrigeration.
Seasoned Flatbread
  1. Thaw biscuits, covered, for 20 minutes at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Mix celery seed and onion powder together in a small bowl.
  3. Coat each thawed biscuit in approx. 1 tsp of spice mixture.
  4. Roll out each biscuit as thinly as possibly without tearing dough (approx. 7-inch disc).
  5. Place rolled-out biscuit dough onto parchment-lined full sheet pans.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 5 minutes of baking.
Assembly
  1. Cut each shrimp in half lengthwise.
  2. Place one baked flatbread on serving plate.
  3. Deposit approx. 1/4 cup Bloody Mary Sauce in center of flatbread and spread out toward edges.
  4. Place 1/4 cup arugula on top of sauce.
  5. Place 4 shrimp halves on top of arugula. Serve immediately.

  • Tip: It is not recommended to hold prepared flatbread pizzas as sauce will make flatbread soggy.
