Black Sesame Cookies

Black sesame butter takes a simple Gold Medal™ White Cake Mix cookie recipe to another level.

Water, cool approx. 72°F

  1. Place butter and black sesame butter in mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment and beat on medium speed until smooth, approx. 2 minutes.
  2. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; add eggs and water.
  3. Mix for 1 minute on medium speed; stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle.
  4. Add cake mix and combine on medium speed until mixture comes together, approx. 2 minutes.
  5. Deposit with #40 scoop in 5 by 6 pattern onto greased or parchment-lined full sheet pan; bake until golden brown around edges.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 5 minutes of baking.
