Black Forest Cookies

Decadent chocolate chocolate chip frozen muffins are the base for a fabulous cookie classic. Press an indentation in each cookie and fill with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle with cookie crumb streusel and bake!

Servings: 24 servings (1 serving = 1 Cookie)
Streusel Topping

Cherry pie filling

Streusel Topping (bulk recipe)
  1. Mix using paddle attachment on low speed until fine crumbs form, about 2 minutes.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of topping and refrigerate remaining amount up to 2 weeks for additional recipes.
Assembly
  1. Press slightly thawed muffin pucks flat with palms of hands.
  2. Make slight thumbprint indentation in center of each flattened puck.
  3. Place #70 scoop of pie filling into center of each puck.
  4. Deposit approx. 2 tsp streusel evenly over each filled cookie and bake as directed below.
