Birthday Cake Pancakes

It's a pancake lover's dream come true! Gold Medal™ Yellow Cake Mix makes the batter, but instead of baking it, it's cooked on a griddle, pancake-style. Add a candle, a dollop of frosting and sprinkles.

Batter
  1. Pour 3 1/2 cups water and 1 box cake mix into large stainless mixing bowl; mix with whisk approx. 45 seconds until lumps are dissolved.
  2. Pour in remaining 3 1/2 cups water and mix 1 minute until batter is smooth.
  3. Deposit 2 oz batter onto well-oiled griddle (375°F); cook approx. 2 minutes until edges begin to cook.
  4. Flip and cook approx. 2 additional minutes; keep warm.
Finishing
  1. Serve 3 pancakes per plate, shingling in circle.
  2. Pipe 1/4 cup (2 oz) vanilla icing in center of plate; top with 1 Tbsp (0.33 oz) sprinkles.
  3. Serve immediately.
