Apple-Topped Cinnamon Rolls

Inspired by a coffee shop favorite, sliced apples take a simple cinnamon roll to the next level.

Prep
  1. Thaw cinnamon roll dough, covered, either at room temperature 30 minutes or refrigerated overnight.
Assembly
  1. Gently flatten cinnamon roll dough; place 3 slices of apple, fanned out on top.
  2. Bake as directed and serve warm or at room temperature.
