Apple Cinnamon Variety Muffins

Apple cinnamon muffins are fabulous, but shake it up with variations adding raisins and oat bran.

Cinnamon, ground
1 1/2 Tbsp
Nutmeg, ground
2 1/2 tsp
Apples, fresh, chopped

  1. Combine water, muffin mix and spices in large mixing bowl.
  2. Fold in apples; deposit #10 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pans.
  3. Bake as directed below and allow to cool before serving.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 9 minutes of baking.

  • Tips: Add in 3 cups oat bran and an additional 1 cup water to batter, or fold in raisins (2 2/3 cups soaked and drained) for additional variations if desired. Note nutrition information will change.
