This Strawberry Croissant Tiramisu puts a delightful twist on the classic dessert, layering decadent strawberry croissants, creamy mascarpone filling, and a hint of coffee.

Espresso, chilled

Kahlua liqueur

Granulated sugar

Prep
  1. Bake croissants according to package directions and cool completely. (This recipe works best on day-old croissants.)
  2. Slice croissants in half lengthwise and set aside.
Filling
  1. Add mascarpone, cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla to a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment.
  2. Mix at medium speed until fully blended and fluffy.
  3. Fold diced strawberries into mixture and set aside. 
Assembly
  1. Mix espresso, Kahlua and sugar in a shallow container until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Dip 6 croissants halves into espresso mixture; place on bottom of half size hotel pan.
  3. Spread on 1/3 of Filling mixture, approx. 2 3/4 cups.
  4. Dip 6 additional croissant halves into espresso mixture and add on top; spread on 1/3 of Filling mixture, approx. 2 3/4 cups.
  5. Dip remaining 6 croissant halves into espresso mixture and add on top; spread on remaining Filling mixture.
  6. Spread on strawberry jam; cover and chill at least 2 hours before portioning.

  • This recipe works best with day-old croissants.
