Deconstructed Shepherd's Pie

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies and gravy are layered between flaky layers of Pillsbury's Best™ Puff Pastry Squares, for a shepherd's pie in a sandwich!

Beef gravy, prepared

Ground beef meatloaf, prepared
2 lb 4.00 oz
12 slices
Puff Pastry
  1. Thaw puff pastry squares covered for 15-30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Cut each puff pastry square in half to obtain 24 rectangle pieces approx. 2.5x5-inches.
  3. Place cut pieces on paper lined sheet pan in a 3 x 4 pattern.
  4. Place parchment paper and 2 sheet pans on top of puff pastry dough to keep it flat while baking.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 12 minutes of baking.
Assembly
  1. Preheat mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables and meatloaf.
  2. Spread approx. 1.5 oz mashed potatoes on top of 1 baked puff pastry rectangle.
  3. Drizzle approx. 0.75 oz gravy; add 0.5 oz mixed vegetables and 3 oz meatloaf.
  4. Repeat layering and top with another piece of puff pastry.
Serving
  1. Cut each finished puff pastry rectangle in half on an angle.
  2. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp warm gravy and serve immediately.
