Chocolate Mousse Trifles

Layers of Belgian white chocolate mousse and milk chocolate brownies are topped with dark chocolate shavings for this triple chocolate treat.

Brownies
  1. Add water and brownie mix to mixing bowl fitted with paddle attachment; mix on low speed 30 seconds.
  2. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle; mix on low speed an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Pour batter into parchment-lined sheet pan and bake as directed below; allow to cool until needed.

*Rotate pan baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 9 minutes of baking.
Mousse
  1. Add cold milk and mousse mix to mixing bowl fitted with whisk attachment.
  2. Mix at high speed until thick and fluffy (about 6 minutes); refrigerate until needed.
Assembly
  1. Cut cooled Brownies into medium-diced pieces; place 1/4 cup (1 oz) in the bottom of parfait cup.
  2. Top with 1/4 cup Mousse (1.25 oz), an additional 1/4 cup Brownies and an additional 1/4 cup Mousse.
  3. Garnish with 2 Tbsp chocolate shavings and serve cold.

  • Freeze baked brownies prior to cutting for cleaner and easier brownie cutting.
