Baked Ziti Stuffed Pizza

Can't decided between serving ziti or pizza, why not serve both with this stuffed pizza using Bonici® sheeted and proofed pizza dough.

Pizza sauce, prepared

Prep
  1. Remove parchment paper from frozen dough sheet; place on a new, greased parchment paper and place on pan.
  2. Cover and thaw refrigerated overnight (up to 36 hours) or at room temperature (up to 4 hours).
  3. Transfer 1 dough sheet with parchment paper to either a pizza screen for Impinger oven, lightly floured pizza peel or parchment-lined full sheet pan for Deck oven.
Assembly
  1. Spread pizza sauce evenly over top of prepared dough to within 1-inch of the edge.
  2. Add 2 cups mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce; top with prepared ziti.
  3. Sprinkle remaining 2 cups cheese then lightly wet edge of dough.
  4. Place 2nd dough sheet over top and roll bottom crust edge over top crust; crimp to seal.
  5. Bake as directed.

  1. Brush garlic butter over top, slice into 8 pieces and serve.

  • This stuffed pizza is much taller than your standard pizza, so make sure to flatten the fillings so the top crust does not touch the top of the oven.
  • Garnish with parsley for added color if desired.
