Sunnyseed Whole Grain-Rich Muffin Squares

Sunflower seed butter and seeds give a nutty flavor to a whole-grain breakfast bar.

  1. Add water and sunflower seed butter into mixing bowl; whisk together until well blended (mixture will not be smooth).
  2. Whisk in muffin mix; fold in chocolate chips. DO NOT overmix.
  3. Deposit batter into parchment-lined, or greased full sheet pan.
  4. Sprinkle sunflower seeds evenly across the top.
  5. Bake as directed below, allow to cool and cut each pan into 32, 3x4-inch servings.
