Cocoa Banana Whole Grain-Rich Muffin Squares

Whole-grain muffin mix shows its versatility in a breakfast bar with the popular combo of bananas and chocolate.

Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Pour water into mixing bowl then add banana and cocoa power; mix with wire whisk until blended well. DO NOT overmix.
  2. Add muffin mix and mix using a rubber spatula until blended; fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Deposit batter into parchment-lined, or greased full sheet pan.
  4. Bake as directed below, allow to cool and cut each pan into 32, 3x4-inch pieces.
